What Groups do
Groups label and organize panes inside one job or scope. Use labels such as Kitchen, North Elevation, Office 201, Day 1, or Touch-ups so window lists, diagrams, and handoff information can point back to the work area.
What Groups do not do
- Groups do not create independent optimization runs or cut plans.
- Groups do not create separate films, pricing contexts, photos, or production plans.
- Groups do not increase the unique window-row limit.

Capacity and large projects
Solo and Flex support up to 20 unique window rows per job. Shop supports up to 50 unique window rows per scope. Repeated panes should use quantity on one row. When a Shop project needs more independent planning capacity, add another Scope where the work can be separated appropriately. Solo and Flex users should create separate jobs.
Plan currentness
Changing only a Group name, assignment, or row order can update labels and organizational output without changing physical cut placement or using another cut plan. Geometry or quantity changes require a new optimized result. See plan currentness and estimate revisions.
Availability
Basic Group organization is available in the job workflow. Shop also supports reusable residential and commercial Group Presets.
Use Scopes when part of a Shop project needs its own panes, film, pricing, photos, and cut plan.
