FAQ
Answers for shop owners and installers. If you still have a question, use the contact form.
How do credits work?
- You spend 1 credit when you enter windows (and groups if desired) and hit Optimize / Build your cut plan.
- That 1 credit unlocks all results for that same job input -- single-roll, multi-roll, and roll size selection inside the modal.
- You can reopen the modal, change roll size, switch modes, and view options without spending another credit.
- You spend another credit only if you change job inputs (add/remove windows, change dimensions, change quantities) and run again.
What's the "window sizes / job" limit?
It's the maximum number of unique window size rows you can include in a single optimization. If you have repeats, use quantity. If you hit the limit, split the job into phases (e.g., by floor, elevation, or room group).
What's the difference between single-roll and multi-roll?
- Single-roll: You're planning the job on one roll width (common for smaller jobs or when you know the width you're using).
- Multi-roll: You're splitting a job across multiple rolls/widths to reduce waste or match real inventory.
What are "Custom rolls"?
Custom rolls let you enter the roll widths you actually have (and optional remaining lengths) so the plan is built around film on hand. This is the Shop-tier differentiator -- it's how many shops reduce over-ordering and keep waste predictable.
Do add-on credits expire?
Yes. Add-on credits are one-time purchases that expire 6 months after purchase. They're used only after monthly plan credits are exhausted.
Do monthly credits roll over?
Monthly plan credits reset on your subscription anniversary date. Unused monthly credits do not roll over.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. You can cancel through your Paddle receipt email (manage subscription link). You keep access until the end of the current billing period.
Do you offer refunds?
No refunds except where required by law. This prevents "sampling and refunding" on a digital service. If you believe you were charged incorrectly, contact us and we'll help investigate.
Do you explain the algorithm?
No. We explain how to use the tool and how to read results, but we do not publish trade-secret internals.
Where can I learn the workflow?
Start with the Process page, then use Docs for deeper guides.
